About the food

Your Swan Lake experience begins with a fantasy Russian feast.

The menu centres around beef, slowly smoked then shredded into a rich stroganoff. It’s a palatially unctuous recipe known only to the Queen’s own grandmother (and Tim Anderson, of course)…

A host of exotic Russian delights will be served about it, from tangy pickled roots to fresh black bread to nutty buckwheat pilaf, each reimagined with modern fairytale flair by Tim, Masterchef’s youngest Champion. Tim will also craft a sumptuous vegetarian main so that all diners may satisfy their desires for gluttony.

Now, in case you have begun to imagine traditional peasant fare, we warn you – think again. This will be a contemporary take on these humble historic dishes, a bold gastronomic fusion of your world ours.

Like all great Royal banquets, the food will be pre-empted by a complimentary aperitif from the Chamberlain’s secret stores, made complete by a satisfying Vestal Vodka kick. It was also be finished with a sweet surprise using finest Zefir from beyond the Russian Steppes.

A selection of wickedly indulgent fairytale cocktails is also available, from molten lust to an enchanted woodland tonic, each infused only when the clock strikes midnight.

Other fine wines, craft vodka by Vestal and ales from FourPure, will be available from the Palace Kitchens.
